Evans School Transition 

During Summer 2024, Evans Student Services will be transitioning from the EvansJobs platform to Handshake.

By Autumn Quarter 2024, EvansJobs will no longer be in use. 

Please save all personal documents from the platform by the end of September 2024. If your job was exclusively posted on EvansJobs, we recommend to repost the job on Handshake.

Please read the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) for any initial questions. The MPA Student Portal also has a Handshake tab under Career Development with details and explanations. 

Employers:

  • If your organization has a Handshake account, please contact your HR or Handshake manager to post your job or gain access as a staff member to post the job yourself.
  • If your organization does NOT have a Handshake account, please contact your HR department to see if they can set up an account and give you access as a staff member. It is free to create a company profile & staff profile
  • If your organization does have a Handshake account AND you have staff access to post a job, to bring attention to your job to Evans students you will want to indicate on the year to include "Masters" students, "PhD" or "undergrad" and the majors to include "Public Administration." You will want to indicate in your Job Description that you would prefer MPA students.

To have us include your job in our monthly Career Corner newsletter at the beginning of each month, please email evansjob@uw.edu with the Handshake job link and job number.
